On the road full-time

In the month of May, we've been on the road most of the time! We spent some time in Nashville, East Tennessee, and Georgia. [MAY 27] We really enjoyed meeting the Darnells and the faith family at Whitworth Memorial Baptist Church. God has given Pastor Pete Darnell an infectious love for the Word and his people. He and his wife were so kind to spend time with our family over lunch. [JUNE 3] After performing a wedding for one of my former teens, we were able to be with Trinity Baptist Church in Franklin, TN. Pastor Dave Schindel was on a missions trip, so we got some great time with our new friends, the Ashmores. They were so hospitable and fun! Karis loved getting to know their four kids. [JUNE 7] Jon was able to share what God has been doing in our family with Pastor Dave Cross at Faith Baptist Church in Jefferson City, TN for prayer and fellowship. God is using a difficult health situation in Pastor Cross to produce an incredible love and passion for ministry and missions. [JUNE 10] Some of our adoption community friends invited us to their church plant in East Tennessee. The service, location, setup, teardown, and excitement made us antsy to be in SLC this August! [JUNE 17] This last weekend we were able to be with brother's wife's family. The Woods have been pastoring Grace Baptist Church in Dacula, GA for 6 years. They were so kind to host us in their home, and Karis particularly loved playing with their dolls and swimming in their pool. I so enjoyed hearing Pastor Wood's heart to disciple both his generation and the next. This weekend we head up to North Carolina to be at Catawba Springs Christian Church. Be sure to check our itinerary below.

Dessert and SLC

Monday and Tuesday of this week, we hosted dessert receptionsat Jon's parent's house. Because Beth and I both grew up in the same town, we have several friends and families that are still in the area. We were not able to present God's call and ministry at all of their churches, but many had still expressed interest in hearing about it. So, we all packed into my parent's living room, grabbed some desserts, and talked Salt Lake City. We showed our DVD and presentation and prayed for God's help. It was so encouraging to see our friends support and excitement for what God is doing to send us to SLC to plant churches.

Our kind Father knows our needs

God is taking care of our family’s needs in this whole journey! This month, God has burdened four new monthly financial partners to speed us onward (churches and individuals.) In order to ensure that we will be able to be in SLC for our first service with the team of tentmakers and leadership, Jon has secured graphic design work for about 40% of our support. Including that, we are at nearly 70% of what we need to be in SLC this fall, and we'll be in 8 more churches before heading west. God is amazing us with His provision for us. Our car is running wonderfully, and we are grateful for the safety and great times in the car that God has given us. The radio drama version of The Chronicles of Narnia has kept us excited about the next long trip in the car!
Please be in prayer for us as we travel that we might share with joy the great mission God has called us to! We are burdened to humbly communicate the work that God has gripped us with so heavily.

The Kopps Travelogue
We've also been posting a rather exciting, detail-packed travelogue. Be warned, this is a raw on the street look at the Kopps Journeys. You never know when a picture of one of us jumping on the beds at a hotel or a conked out passenger might pop up in the feed. Click here to follow along.
